摘要
介绍了美国、日本几所大学关于机械设计教育及课程设置的情况，结合清华大学情况及设计教育规划中的一些想法，对目前设计教育存在的问题作了分析，并具体阐明了对设计教育及工程图学教学改革的一些设想和规划。文中提及的许多问题仍在讨论中，但有些问题已作了实践。
Mechanical design education and its course arrangement of several universities in USA and Japan are introduced. The problems existed at present design education in China are analyzed with some thinking in Tsinghua university. Some idea and planning of design education and engineering graphics reform are presented, some of them are still under discussion, but some of them are put in practice now.
