摘要
PBP3作为肺炎链球菌唯一的D,D羧肽酶,能够从肽聚糖五肽上移除最后一个末端D-Ala,导致转肽反应中供体不可用,因此控制了肽聚糖的网状交联水平,在细胞分裂和生长中起重要作用。文中对PBP3的功能与结构进行了综述,为今后PBP3的深入研究与应用提供了基础资料。
As the single D-Ala,D-Ala(D,D)-carboxypeptidase in Streptococcus pneumonia,PBP3 plays a key role in cell division and growth by trimming the last residue of pentapeptides to reduce the availability of donors for the transpeptidation reaction and thus limits the reticulation of the peptidoglycan.The structure and functions of PBP3 was reviewed,which will provide basic data for deep research and application of PBP3.
