摘要
模糊标签语在英语本族语者口语中出现频率极高,在话语中具有多种功能,是一类重要的程式表达语。利用语料库从对比的角度研究中国英语学习者在该类词上的使用情况,发现他们对这类词的使用总体上偏少,对个别表达又使用过多;使用功能单一,且出现不少使用不当或错误使用的情况。这些发现暴露出目前中国英语教学中的一些问题,为改进词汇教学提供了一些启示。
Vagueness tags is a group of frequently-used formulaic expressions with multiple functions in native speakers＇ daily commu- nications. The study explores Chinese English learners＇ use of this group of expressions from a comparative perspective. We find that Chinese English learners generally use less those expressions than native speakers. While most expressions are severely underused, some few are overused. There is also evidence for pragmatic fossilization, inappropriate uses and use of self-invented expressions.
