摘要 "无终旋律"([德]unendliche Melodie,[英]endless melody)是瓦格纳乐剧中的一个关键概念,如何认识它对于深入理解瓦格纳的乐剧创作具有非常重要的意义。"无终旋律"看起来与旋律相关,因此,一般会很自然地把它当作一种旋律形态,或仅作为一种旋律写法来看待,其实,这样的理解是非常狭隘的。文章依据瓦格纳在其《未来的音乐》一文中的阐述,并结合对一些实际作品的分析,试图就"无终旋律"以旋律之名行和声之实从而达到音乐结构延绵发展之目的进行一个厘清,以达到认清"无终旋律"对于瓦格纳乐剧音乐创作所具有的本质意义。＂Endless Melody＂（German： unendliche melodic） is a key concept in Wagner＇s ＂music drama＂. A better comprehension of this concept is of great significance to an in - depth understanding of Wagner＇s ＂music drama＂. It is not the case when people regard ＂Endless Melody＂ as a melodic structure, or as a melodic composition. This paper seeks to explain how ＂Endless Melody＂ prolongs the melodic structure through the help more of harmony than of melody, by analyzing actual compositions, based on Wagner＇ s discussion in his essay ＂Zukinftsmusik＂. Thus, there may be a revised understanding of the significance of the concept ＂Endless Melody＂ in Wagner＇s ＂music drama＂ composition.
