摘要
当代地理学家段义孚建构了富含人文关怀的人文主义地理学,以人之生存为核心研究人与地理环境的关系。"地方"思想是段义孚人文主义地理学的核心,也是段义孚文学艺术理论展开的逻辑起点。段义孚把文学艺术视为"虚拟的地方",是"思想建造的庇护所"。他提倡积极并合理地建构文学艺术世界,既体现文学艺术自身形式上的审美意义又关注其道德价值,以维护生命天性的完整。
Approaching geography from a humanist perspective,Yi-Fu Tuan explores how human beings interact with their natural and social environments.At the core of Tuan’s humanist geography is place.He describes artworks as ＂virtual places＂ and ＂constructs of the mind＂ which provide security and sanctuary.His reflections on literature and art demonstrate that human constructs not only create aesthetic experiences but also conceive moral values.Focusing on Tuan’ s concept of place,this paper explores how his ecological perspectives on literature and art have contributed to ecocriticism.
