The year 2012 is a tuming point for Chinese talc industry. The market was shrinking. The continuous price increasing during the past 12 years came to an end. The demand exceeding supply turned to its opposition of supply exceeding demand. This paper reviews Chinese talc industry in 2012 and look into its future trends and challenge.
