摘要
蒙古语复合词根词是介于单词和复合词的特殊词类,该类词究竟是归于单词,还是复合词,还是自成一类,学界一直存在争论。作者量化分析了复合词根词,研究了其演变轨迹,认为蒙古语复合词根词正从复合词演变为单词,是语言经济性原则在词汇层面的体现。
The root word of Mongolian compound words is a very special category between single-mor-pheme word and compound word. There has been controversy in the academic circle in whether it should be classified into single-morpheme word or into compound word. After quantitatively analyzing the root words of compound words and studying their developments, the author holds that Mongolian root words are gradually developing from compound words into single-morpheme words, which is a vivid reflection of economical principle in lexical level.
