In order to establish links among the physical variables related to the shock wave, assuming that the air is a calorically perfect gas, twelve relationships between the physical variables related to the shock wave and the shock Mach number are deduced from the equations representing the conservation of mass, momentum and energy across the discontinuity. These physical variables include the static pressure, density, flow velocity, temperature, sound velocity, local Maeh number, dynamic pressure, reflected pressure, reflected temperature, reflected sound veloci- ty, total pressure and entropy. These findings are of great significance for testing, data analysis of blast flow field parameters and other related research.
