The reduction process of copper, potassium promoted iron-based catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis prepared by co-precipitation and impregnation method was studied by temperature-programmed reduction (TPR). The mechanism of reduction of Fe catalyst was suggested. The effects of promoter copper, potassium on the reduction process and mechanism were discussed. The kinetic parameters of the reduction process were also calculated.
