摘要
互联网的发展与应用引起教育思想、教学观念、教学模式、教学手段和方法的变化，对新世纪我国外语教学改革产生重大影响。本文在讨论英语教学网站建设的必要性之后，重点论述英语教学网站建设的基本原则和方法，并根据笔者建设与应用英语教学网站的体会提出加强网站建设的建议。
The development and the use of Internet have brought about changes in educational concepts and teaching methodology, which will have a great influence on China's foreign language learning and teaching in the new century. Based on these changes and influences, this paper examines first the necessity of establishing a good web site for English learning and teaching. Then it focuses the discussion on the guidelines for designing and ELT web site and web pages. Finally, the paper offers some suggestions for the expansion and application of the ELT web site.
