摘要
本文分析了一起500 kV变电站35 kV电容器组故障。首先通过测试背景谐波,排除了谐波放大可能导致电容器损坏的因素。然后根据内熔丝保护设置的机理和要求,发现电容器组的中性点不平衡电流保护整定值过大。所以进行了继电保护整定值的调整,从而确保电容器单元内部元件损坏在一个很小范围的情况下,继电保护就动作,杜绝类似严重故障的发生。对于带内熔丝的电容器组,一般情况是不需要安装外熔断器,因此拆除了电容器组外熔断器。
In this paper, one fault of 35 kV capacitor bank at 500 kV substation is analyzed. Firstly, the factors possibly causing damage of capacitor such as harmonics amplification is eliminated through the test of background harmonics. Then, it is found that imbalance current protection settings at neutral point of capacitor bank are too high in accordance with the mechanism and requirement set by the internal fuse. The settings of replaying protection is adjusted, thus assuring relaying protection operation in case of small scope of damage to the internal elements of capacitor unit and preventing occurrence of similar serious faults. For the capacitor banks with internal fuse, installa tion of external fuse is in general unnecessary, and, therefore, the external fuse of capacitor bank is removed.
