摘要
华南震旦系冰成地层(特别是海相)由三部分组成,它们并非代表冰期与间冰期的交替,而是同一冰期的三个不同演化阶段的产物。以滑积岩和浊积岩为特征的下部地层形成于冰进阶段;以泥(页)岩和碳酸盐岩为主的中部地层形成于冰盛阶段;以碎屑流沉积的杂屑岩为特征的上部地层则是冰退阶段的产物。
The Sinian glacigenic strata. which widely spread in South China and some other areas, con-sist of three members. They are the products of different glacier evolutionary stages in one icc-age,rather than the results of alternation of glacier and interglacier. The lowermost member with unstablethickness and dominanted by gravel-bearing mudstone and breccias is formed in the glacial advance e-poch; the middle one is characterized by shale or mudstone and carbonate and deposited in the environ-ment with stagnant water during the stage of glacial maximum; and the uppermost member composedof mixitite is formed by debris-flow, that is caused by the ice melting and sediments released in the pe-riod of glacial retreat.
