摘要
西北 ,作为中国的不发达地区之一 ,在以往的经济开发中 ,付出过高昂的资源、环境与生态代价 ,也造成了人口膨胀、贫困、城乡对立等一系列社会经济问题。痛定思痛 ,可持续发展是西北经济的必然选择。虽然面临重重困难 ,但社会主义政治制度特别是市场经济体制的建立已为这一选择开辟了广阔前景 ,西北初具规模的国民经济体系也为其提供了物质保障。
Being one of the underdeveloped areas in China,the Northwest really paid too much in resources,environment and ecology while pursuing its economic development.As a result,a series of problems occurred,such as over population,poverty and conflicts between cities and countrysides.Thinking over the past painful experience,we have come to the conclusion that the sustainable development is the only way to develop the economy in the Northwest.Although there are many difficulties,a vast range of prospects for this choice has been opened by the establishment of the socialist political system,especially the system of socialist market economy.The quite large scale of the Northwestern national economic system provides the choice with a fairly solid material foundation.
