摘要
本文通过对几所有图书馆学专业的高校开设课程和几个省级图书馆举办馆员继续教育培训记录的抽样调查,发现图书馆工作人员无论在学校还是在日常工作中,接受职业道德教育的机会都非常少。而迅速发展的现代化图书馆亟待有良好职业道德素养的馆员服务,才能充分发挥公共图书馆的文献资源价值,提升服务质量。
After conducting a sample survey of the courses at the universities which include Library Science specialty and of the records in several provincial libraries which have organized vocational training, the authors notice that the opportunities of accepting professional ethics education by library staff are rare both at universities and in daily work. However, the rapid development of modem libraries shows that quality services only could be provided by the staff who possess excellent professional ethics and only thus could the value of library collections be fulfilled fully and their services be improved.
