摘要
姚名达是中国史学史学科创建历史上一位不容忽视的学者。本文依据其《中国史学史讲义》遗稿,以及散见于信函与已刊著述中的介绍与阐述,梳理出姚名达从事中国史学史研究的学术历程,拟定的架构以及已经成文的观点与主张等内容。中国史学史研究是姚名达最为重视,也始终坚持的学术领域与研究专题。姚名达的中国史学史研究规划,具有整体化、系统化的特点,其已经刊行的几部史家年谱,均应纳入到中国史学史研究体系之中。作为姚名达留下的唯一相对完整的文本,《中国史学史讲义》遗稿讨论了史理与史官两部分内容。其中体现出的对史学理论的重视,可视为姚名达中国史学史研究的显著特点之一。
Yao Mingda is an influential scholar in the establishment of the discipline of Chinese historiography. Based on his unpublished Handouts on Chinese Historiography and other published essays, this paper discusses the process, the structure and the main points of Yao＇s research. The research on Chinese historiography is the most important part throughout Yao＇s lifetime and academic career. Yao＇s research scheme was an integration system, including those published chronologies of historians compiled by him. His discussions on historical theory and historiographers constitute the main part of Handouts. One of the outstanding features of Yao＇s research is its emphasis on the historical theory.
