摘要
目前液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display)广泛应用在各种电子设备中,是人机交换信息必不可少的设备。介绍一种基于ALTERA公司FPGA内嵌Niosii软核嵌入式系统平台,利用SG-DMA和视频同步信号发生器组件来控制液晶显示器的方法。这种控制液晶显示器的方法使液晶显示器的显存和CPU共用1片SDRAM芯片,不但节约1片显存SDRAM芯片,而且省去LCD液晶驱动芯片,即降低功耗和成本,又提高了控制速度,能够应用到各种需要液晶显示的仪器设备中。
Liquid crystal display is widely applied to the electronic equipment, which is necessary in the exchange of information between human and computer. It provides a method that is based on FPGA embedded with Niosii IP core embedded system platform, by using SG-DMA and video synchronization signal generator to control the LCD module. This method makes LCD and CPU to share a single SDRAM. So a memory SDRAM chip, as well as a LCD driver chip is saved, which not only reduces power consumption and cost, but also increases speed of control. It can be used in other LCD equipment.
