Antisense oligonucleotide(ASON) includes antisense RNA, antisense DNA and Ribozyme. It can inhibit endogenote and exogenote expression particularly which provides a effective method for studying the faction of a certain specific gene and provides a possible pathway to breeding disease-resistence plants, modulating and controlling secondary metabolism, modifying agricultural character. The physical and chemical properities of ASON be changed via specific chemical modification, and thus enhencing ASON's antivirus as well as other specific gene expression inhibition activities.
