摘要
从同一性与单义性的承接关系及其相对于回译性的优先性角度,论述中医药英文术语规范的同一性原则。提出同一性与单义性虽针对语种不同,但基本理念相似,都立足于建立概念与规范术语之间的一一对应关系;就部分结构特殊的中医药术语而言,当同一性与回译性不能兼顾时,优先遵从同一性原则;其他无特殊结构的术语,应以等价术语为英文规范术语。
This paper discusses the principle of identity for the standardization of English terminology in Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology in terms of the link between identity and monosemy, and the priority of identity to back translation. We propose that identity and monosemy share common ground as they are both based on establishing a one-to-one relationship between concept and standard terminology, although they aim at different languages. While identity and back translation cannot collaborate in instructing the standardization of terminology, identity should take the priority. For terminology with no special structures, the English equivalents should be adopted as standard terminology. Keywords.
