摘要
新文化运动为积贫积弱的中国带来了先进的西方思想,在与传统文化对抗的过程中,为中国社会的发展提供了新的方向。新文化运动立足于人的现代化,通过对西方实验主义和唯物主义的引入,切实地做着改造民众的工作。它的政治指向是建立现代民主国家,这两条规定了中国社会的现代化基本方向,直到今天我们仍然处于这一进程之中。
New Culture Movement advanced Western thought for the poor and weak, and provided a new direction for the development of the Chinese society in the process of confrontation with the traditional culture. New Culture Movement is based on the modern transformation through the introduction of Western experimentalism and materialism, effectively resolve the problem of the people. The political point is the establishment of a modern democratic state, these two provisions of the basic direction of the modernization of Chinese society, and until today we are still in the process.
