摘要
双宾构式与与其对应的名介构式所表达的基本概念意义类似,另一方面二者本身所强调的认知参照点不同。双宾构式要与名介构式相互转换的条件必须满足介词的选择不可涉及方向、空间范围、时间、工具、归属等变化。谓语动词后的名词短语一般情况下是有生命意义或机构类名词,但在偶然情况下也可是被赋予其生命意义的无生命名词,且该第一名词须与第二名词有领属关系。并具体探讨to、with、for三种名介构式在转换时满足的条件。
English ditransitive construction and nounpreposition construction express the similar meaning at the basic concept,but they emphasize different cognitive reference points.The mutual conversion of the constructions must meet the needs that the choosing of prepositions should not involve the change of direction,scope of space,time,tool,ownership,etc.Moreover,the first noun phrase should involve the meaning of life or belong to the nouns of institutions,but in some special circumstances they can also be inanimate nouns endowed with the meaning of life.Three kinds of noun-preposition constructions—— 'to,with,for' have been discussed in this paper.
