摘要
虚拟交换机是在实体交换机原理的基础上发展起来的,其主要用于实现系统模拟器节点之间的网络模拟通信,虚拟交换机能够完成实体交换机的数据转发、差错校验以及维护地址映射等功能。文章概述了虚拟交换机的概念、原理及其特点,重点分析了虚拟交换机设计思路和设计过程,并详细阐述了虚拟交换机的实践应用。
The virtual switch is developed based on the principle of the real switch and mainly used for the implementation of network communication between the nodes of the system simulators. It can accomplish the data forwarding, error checking and maintenance of address mapping function in a manner as fast as the real switch does. The paper presents a general review of the concepts, principles and characteristics of virtual switch, with emphasis placed on the analysis of the design ideas and process of virtual switch and on a de- tailed analysis of practical application of the virtual switch.
