摘要
科学技术的发展日新月异,学科的衍生分支愈加细密深化,学科之间的渗透相融日益加强,交叉学科、边缘学科大量涌现,自然科学期刊如雨后春笋,为争取成为权威性、生存力强的期刊而斗争,已成为美国自然科学期刊编辑新动向的主流。本文指出了体现这一编辑新动向的种种作法,并结合我国自然科学期刊的编辑实践,发人思考,从中悟出改革我国自然科学期刊编辑工作应走的道路,以期在世界权威期刊之林中,争得我国应有的一席之地。
With the rapid development of science and technology, new specialty journals have been emerging consistently in the United States while some journals died. To win reputation or compete for existance. the journals of natural sciences stress the creativemess, applicability of articles, well prepared abstracts, correspondence, and other columns for readers. The American experience in editing scientific journals is helpful in improving China's scientific journals in the world competition.
