摘要
文章在对城市规划学科发展趋势和苏南地域特色分析的基础上，提出了我院城市规划学科应以小城镇发展和规划理论、城镇密集区规划、城市文化、生态城市规划为重点科研方向，并简要论述了各方向总体研究的意义和内容。
On the basis of analysis on the front theory of Urban planning and the local characteristics in Southern Jiangsu province China, this paper points out that the scientific research orientation for SIUCEP's urban planning subject should consist of four fields: inter-suburban region plan' ning developmentand planning of small towns, study urban cultures and ecological cities.
