John Cage: From his Prepared Piano to 4′33″

摘要 本文对美国现代作曲家约翰·凯奇在 4 0年代前后的音乐创作情况和音乐思想的变化过程进行了全面的探索 ,详细探讨了凯奇从音色拓展试验到“空的节奏结构概念”的演变过程 ,逻辑地展示了音乐史中极为特殊的个例《4分 33秒》产生的上下文关系以及它所蕴涵的意义 :空的节奏结构中可以投入所有的声音 (包括无声 ) ; The article is an all round research of John Cage's composition and the change in his musical ideas around the 1940s, especially the process from his experiment in tone color expansion to his concept of “empty rhythmic structure”. The context of 4′33″, a rare case in music history, and its hidden meanings are logically treated: All kinds of sound (including silence) can be put into the “empty rhythmic structure” and musical event can be cognitive, instead of aesthetic, in nature.
