摘要
城镇化是人口持续向城镇集聚的过程,是工业化和现代化的重要标志,也是当前破解我国三农困境,促进农村及整个国家发展的基本之策。本文通过对湖北省的城镇化发展的深入调查,分析湖北城镇化发展中面临的困难和问题,提出促进湖北城镇化健康发展,实现工业化、城镇化和农业现代化"三化"协同的思路和对策。作为我国中部农业大省,湖北省城镇化发展道路的研究对于我国其他地区新型城镇化的发展有参考价值。
Urbanization is the process of continuous population agglomeration in urban areas, the significant symbol of industrialization and modernization, and the fundamental strat- egy to tackle issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers as well as to promote rural and even national development. Through an examination of the urbanization process in Hubei Province, the paper analyzes the impediments and problems it faces, and provides strategies that coordinate industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization as well as guaran- tee sound growth. As a major province of agriculture in Central China, the experience of Hubei Province might provide valuable references for the neo-urbanization practices in other regions.
