摘要
研究基于OpenGL的大规模三维地形构建关键技术,以便流畅显示海量地形数据。为了防止显示滞后,缓解内存和显卡缓存的压力,需要考虑复杂的地形数据简化处理、三维地形数据层次细节(LOD)构建等。通过DEM数据分层及重采样,将数据预处理成金字塔结构,用文件及内存分块实时构建LOD地形构建。实验证明,按照本文方法对高程数据预处理后,地形可视化与DEM数据大小无关,并且在内存分块后,能快速构建与显示优化后三维地形。
The Paper researched the key technology of build large - scale terrain based on OpenGL for smooth dis- playing the massive terrain data. In order to prevent the display delay, alleviate the pressure of the memory and the dis- play card, it is necessary to consider the complex topographical data simplification processing, the constructs of three di- mensional topographical data with level of detail (LOD) and so on. In this paper, with layered and re - sampled, the DEM data is pre -processed into a pyramid structure, which used the documents and the sub -block memory to build re- al - time LOD Terrain. Experiment results show that after elevation data pre - processing whit this method, the DEM ter- rain data visualization has nothing to do with the amount of data. And after using memory block, it can quickly build and display the optimized three -dimensional terrain .with a theoretical value and practical significance.
