摘要
杨南仲,是北宋仁宗时期继周越之后的另一位国子监书学,在皇祐至嘉祐年间任职。他不仅精通字学,是当时有名的文字学家,而且还善篆书和楷书,但却不显于书史,以至于被遗忘。目前,关于杨南仲的籍贯生卒年、历官仕途和交往、书迹与书法风格,以及对其书法史地位的重新评价等问题的研究尚无人问津。对此进行全面而深入的研究,势必会对北宋书法史做出有益的补充。
Yang Nanzhong was another calligrapher in Imperial College during the period when northern Song Ren Zong was in power since Zhou Yue. He served as a calligrapher from HuangYou to JiaYou. He was not only profi- cient in calligraphy as a famous philologist but also skilled in seal character and regular script. But he was too obliv- ious in history of calligraphy to be forgotten. By far, there has been no study about his birthplace, birth year and death year,his official experiences and associations,his calligraphy and calligraphy style as well as new comment on the role his calligraphy has played in history. Therefore, a thorough and deep research will become a useful supple- ment to the calligraphy history in Northern Song Dynasty.
