摘要
本文在Carroll等(2000)和Cuadrado等(2004)的基础上,进一步对新古典经济增长模型进行了修正,通过构建参数的合理范围,为目前实证分析的结论 "经济的高增长导致高储蓄"提供了一个有效的理论解说。在本文的分析框架下,我们发现储蓄率将最终随着经济的增长而上升,并且其在趋于均衡的路径上不断向上攀升。本文还发现,由于中国居民"好面子"、攀比之风盛行,使得经济本身的高速增长成为导致高储蓄的重要原因。另外,资本产出弹性过高、个人贴现率偏低和跨期替代弹性过小也是导致高储蓄的重要因素。
In this paper we modify the model of Carroll et al. （2000） ana Cuadrado et al. （2004）, through constructing reasonable parameter value range, we effectively explain the current empirical analysis conclusion ＂higher growth rate can lead to higher saving rate＂ . Under the present analysis framework, we find that the saving rate will be positive respect to the growth rate and will be raise to steady-state. We also find that higher economic growth, higher capital output elas- ticity, lower rate of time preference and smaller elasticity of intertemporal substitu- tion, are the significant influence factors of higher saving rate in China.
