The paper explains the significance of standardization work and sums up the present progress made in this field.The work of IEC TC-57. which is a technical committee in charge of correlative standards of power system control andassociated communication system. Is briefly described. The paper also introduces the history. organization. task and workingprocedure of Standardization Technical Committee for Power System Control and Associated Communication system in China.Finally. the current IEC TC--57 standard system table is given.
