摘要
低本底γ谱仪应用广泛,屏蔽性能良好的低本底实验室能有效降低室内本底值,减少本底对低本底γ谱仪测量结果的影响,目前关于低本底实验室设计的报道较少。本文研究设计了屏蔽性能良好的低本底实验室,有效地提高了仪器灵敏度。对各种影响因素(宇宙射线、氡及其子体、地球天然γ辐射、建筑材料)进行计算和分析后发现,氡及其子体对本底几乎没有影响,宇宙射线和建筑材料为主要影响因素。针对不同因素对本底的影响程度,采取了不同的屏蔽措施,设计了满足要求的低本底实验室。
Background: Low-background gamma-ray spectrometer is used widely. Low-background laboratory with good shielding performance can reduce the indoor background values effectively, and reduce the impact of the background on low background gamma spectrometer measurements, but currently there were few literatures on the low background laboratory design. Purpose: This paper attempts to propose a design for a low background laboratory with good shielding performance, and effectively improve the sensitivity of instrument. Methods: We analyzed the various factors (cosmic ray, radon and its progeny, the earth's natural gamma radiation, and building material) affecting the indoor background, and carried out calculation and analysis on different factor. Results: It is found that radon and radon progeny had almost no effect, and cosmic rays and building materials were the main influence factors. Conclusions: In view of the different influence factors on the background, we can design a low-background laboratory which meets the requirements by taking different shielding measures.
