摘要
光学薄的Rb蒸汽和低密度 ( 2~ 8× 10 17cm- 3)He的混合系统被 570~ 60 0nm的激光激发 ,RbHe分子激发态预离解到Rb 5P1/2 或 5P3/2 态 ,测定了实验分支比I(D1) /I(D2 ) ,I(D1)和I(D2 )分别是RbD1和D2 线的强度 ,得到了预离解率之比和精细结构转移截面。
We report here an experimental study of depopulation mechanism of the RbHe excited state. An optically thin gaseous mixture of Rb and low density He is excited by 570~600 nm of the cw dye laser. The excited RbHe molecule is predissociated into the Rb(5 P 1/2 ) or Rb( 5P 3/2 ). The branching ratio is defined as the ratio of 5 P 1/2 to 5 P 3/2 fluorescence. The branching is determined in the He density range 2 to 8×10 17 cm -3 . The ratio of the predissociation rates and the fine structure changing cross section are obtained.
