摘要
研究了TiC颗粒弥散Al2 O3复合材料的阻力曲线行为 ,发现TiC颗粒对Al2 O3基体的增韧效果在很大程度上取决于TiC颗粒的尺寸 .在TiC颗粒尺寸较小的情况下 ,复合材料的断裂韧性与Al2 O3基体相当 .在TiC颗粒尺寸较大的情况下 ,复合材料的断裂韧性随着TiC颗粒尺寸的增大而增大 .本工作还结合对裂纹扩展途径的观察 ,简要讨论了TiC颗粒弥散Al2 O3复合材料中的增韧机制 .
The crack_resistance curve behavior of TiC particle dispersed Al 2O 3 composites was studied in this paper. It is shown that the TiC particle size plays an important role in the toughness characteristics of the Al 2O 3-TiC composites. The fracture toughness of the composite having small TiC particles is comparable to that of the Al 2O 3 matrix. However, the fracture toughness of the composite having large TiC particles increases with TiC particle size. A brief discussion on the toughening mechanism for the TiC particle dispersed Al 2O 3 composites is also conducted based on the observations on the crack paths.
