摘要
武夷山市下梅村是"中国历史文化名村"。砖雕、木雕和石雕等雕刻艺术是下梅村古民居建筑装饰的主要表现形式。雄厚的经济实力、浓郁的礼乐风尚和造房工匠们精湛的刻绘技艺孕育出下梅村古民居建筑雕刻以祥禽瑞兽类、植物类、器物类和人物类吉祥图案为主的多样化的图案装饰题材,它们表达出丰富的文化内涵,使下梅村古民居建筑雕刻艺术成为闽北地方文化的重要组成部分。
Xiamei village of Wuyishan city is one of the “Famous Ancient Historical and Cultural Villages in China”. Brick carving, wood carving and stone carving are major artistic expression forms of architectural decoration in this village＇s ancient dwellings. Strong economic strength, rich ritual and musical customs as well as builders＇ skillful carving and painting techniques had granted decoration designs with rich cultural connotations through diversified subject matters, mainly presented in forms of auspicious designs of auspicious birds and lucky animals, plants, utensils and images of people. This has made ancient architectural carving art of ancient dwellings in Xiamei village an integral part of local culture in the north of Fujian Province.
