摘要
在英语语法中,实义动词转用为系动词是一种常见的现象。在转用过程中,原本实义动词无论在语义功能上或是修辞特征方面,均发生了一定的变化。最常见的主要是持续性动词、表象性动词、感官性动词、变化性动词以及终止性动词几类,这些变化主要可以归纳为语义功能与修辞特征上的变化。
In English grammar, it is a common phenomenon of verbs switching from notional verbs to link - verbs. The original notional verbs, in the process of this switch, regardless of the semantic function or rhetorical char- acteristics, have had certain changes. Continuous verbs, representational verbs, verbs of senses, verbs of changes, and verbs of termination are the most common, the changes of which can be summarized as the change in the semantic function and rhetorical feature.
