以73名长期接触低浓度苯及同系物的女工为观察对象,65名不接触任何化学物质的幼儿教师作对照进行生殖机能调查。调查结果表明,车间空气中苯、甲苯及二甲苯的时间加权平均浓度(TWA)均低于国家最高容许浓度。观察组月经周期不规则,经量异常及痛经的发生率分别为19.18%、27.39%及42.47%,显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。自然流产、妊娠中毒症及分娩期并发症的发生率有升高趋势,但无显著性差异。观察组有1名死婴,对照组则无。观察组新生儿先天性缺陷2名,对照组1名。提示,长期在低浓度苯及同系物危害的作业条件下工作,可对女性生殖机能产生不良影响。
The effect of benzene series on temale workers' reproductive function was investigated in 73 female workers who had been contacted with low levels of benzene series for more than one year, and compared with 65 kindergarden teachers who had never been in contact with any poisonous chemical substances. The results showed that the concentrations (TWA) of benzene, methylbenzene and dimethylbenzene were all lower than the national maximum permitted levels (40mg/M3, 100mg/M3 and 100mg/M3 respectively) . The incidence of irregular period, abnormal amount of menstruation and menorrhalgia for the observed group was 19.18%, 27.39% and 42.47% respectively, considerably higher than that for the control group. There was an increased tendency for the incidence of spontaneous abortion, toxemia of pregnancy and partus complications in the observ edgroup,but not reaching the level of statistical signifcance.There were 1 death and 2 birth defect infants in the observed group, but only 1 birth defect and no death infants in the control group. It is evident that harmful effect on the reproductive function will be observed in female workers who are in contact with low level of benzene series for a long time.
