摘要
通过实地调查和资料收集 ,分析了广东境内的山茶科稀有濒危植物的区系特点和保护价值 ,并提出了保护对策 广东共有 8种山茶科稀有濒危植物 ,除金花茶外 ,包含了中国第一批山茶科稀有濒危植物的全部种类 广东山茶科稀有濒危植物呈星散分布 ,仅见于省内几个地点 ,每个地点仅见少数植株 ,濒危状况与区系的特有现象紧密相连 其中最为突出的是圆籽荷 (Apterospermaoblata)和猪血木 (Euryodendronexcelsum) ,仅见于云开大山两侧的几个地点 ,代表了高度特有和高度濒危的类型 ,同时又是山茶科中的单型属种 ,具有重要系统学意义 考虑到山茶科稀有濒危植物的濒危状况及其重大经济价值和文化意义 ,应迅速对该科加强保护和种群恢复研究 ,除了进一步加强就地保护外 ,应考虑纳入造林育种计划 ,利用广东在山茶科方面的研究优势 ,设立山茶科稀有濒危植物保护中心 。
Floristic characteristics of Guangdong′s rare and endangered theaceous plants are delineated based on field work and published data.Conservational evaluation and strategies are given following floristic analysis. 8 species of rare and endangered theaceous plants were found distributing in Guangdong,representing all of China′s first batch of rare and endangered theaceous plants except yellow camellias.These rare and endangered theaceous plants were found distributing in only a few localities where few such trees have been found,indicating very high endangerment plus strict endemism for such plants.Most conspicuously are Apterosperma oblata and Euryodendron excelsum ,the two monotypics which include only one species in a genus,found only in 3 to 4 sites along the Yunkai Mountain Range straddling the western border of Guangdong and the southeastern border of Guangxi,signifying great systematic and floristic importance.In view of the endangerment situation of Guangdong′s rare and endangered theaceous plants and their economic,scientific and cultural values,great importance should be attached to the conservation and species rehabilitation of such plants.First,in situ conservation should be reinforced so that their endangerment and probable extinction can be halted;second,species restoration should be incorporated into regular afforestation and silvicultural projects;and third,a center for the conservation and propagation of rare and endangered theaceous plants should be established,which will become a center of scientific research and provide a base for future exploitation.
