摘要
海量科学数据正日益成为科学研究的有力工具及知识基础。文章从《第四范式:数据密集型科学发现》一书出发,通过地球与环境科学、生命与健康科学、数字信息基础设施和数字化学术信息交流等方面基于海量数据的科研活动的生动实例,揭示了这种数据密集型科学发现的新范式对科学研究带来的新模式、新方法,最后从科学数据的管理、互操作、数据权益管理、数据素养等方面提出了驾驭第四范式的挑战。
The mass data of scientific research is increasingly becoming a powerful tool of scientific research and knowledge base. Starting from the book “The Fourth Paradigm: Data-intensive Scientific Discovery”, this paper illustrates the vivid research activities based on big data in the fields of Earth and environmental science, life and health sciences, digital information infrastructure and digitization of academic information exchange, reveals the models and new methods of the data-intensive scientific discovery paradigm. Finally, the paper presents the challenges of the fourth paradigm from the scientific data management, interoperability, data rights management, and data literacy
