摘要
记述采自湖北省的端突瘿蚊属 1新种 :三角端突瘿蚊 Epidiplosis triangularisMo et Liu,sp.nov.。模式标本存放于山东农业大学昆虫标本室。
In the present paper a new species, Epidiplosis triangularis Mo et Liu,sp. nov. of the genus Epidiplosis Felt 1908 from Hubei Province,China is described. The type specimen is deposited in the Insect Collection of Shandong Agricultural University. Epidiplosis triangularis Mo et Liu,sp. nov. (Figs. 1～5) The new species is somewhat allied to E. indica Grover et Chandra 1988,but it may be easily distinguished from the latter in follwing aspects: 1) eye bridge narrow, 5～6 facets width at the narrowest part; 2) fourth segment of palpus longer than third segment of palpus; 3) hypoproct shallow emargination apically and nearly as long as the cerci; 4) parameres sclerotized,rather narrow and long,curved slightly. Holotype♂, Hongping, Shennongjia[31.7°N,110.5°E], Hubei Province, China, 2-Ⅷ-1987, collected by Mo Tielu.
