The Concept of Qing in Classic Chinese Poetry

摘要 本文侧重于阐释“清”的诗学内涵 ,同时对于“清”在诗学中的特殊位置、确立以及展开进行了分析和勾勒。作者认为 ,“清”在中国古典诗学中既是构成性的概念 ,与诗的本质论、创作论相关 ,又是审美性的概念 ,与诗的风格论、鉴赏论相联系 ;它集中地体现了中国古代文人的生活情趣和审美倾向 ,并在某种程度上与古典艺术的终极审美理想相联系 ;“清”在其形成和确立的过程中分别被注入和赋予了各个时代的美学精神 ,具有由长期的历史积淀而形成的基本内涵 ,就其正价部分而言 ,是诗歌语言的明晰省净 ,诗人气质的超脱尘俗 ,立意与艺术表现的新颖 ,此外还有意境和情趣的凄冽和古雅等 ,而其负价部分 ,则是单薄浮弱 ;“清”在诗学史上是一个相当开放的审美概念 ,有广泛的包容性 ,其派生能力极强 ,进一步整理和研究这一概念的衍变和内涵 。 In this article special emphasis is laid on the poetic connotations of the Chinese word qing (清, meaning “clear”, “quiet”, etc.), and an analysis is made of its special place, its establishment and development in the Chinese poetry. In the view of the author, qing is both a component concept, related to the essence and creation of poetry, and an aesthetic concept, related to the style and appreciation of poetry. It embodies in a concentrated way the temperament, interest, taste and aesthetic tendency of Chinese men of letters in ancient times, and links with, in a sense, the ultimate aesthetic ideal of classic art. In the process of its formation and development, qing absorbed aesthetic spirit of different times and was endowed with basic connotations from long years of historical sediment, with both positive and negative aspects. In the history of poetry qing is an open aesthetic concept with a wide range of meaning and strong derivative ability. Further probing and study of the development and connotations of this concept is an important subject in the research of classic poetry.
