Evaluation of the therapeutic effect of an automatic vestibular function therapy system(SRM-IV) in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

摘要 目的评价SRM-IV前庭功能治疗系统对良性阵发性位置性眩晕的临床治疗效果。方法采用开放、平行对照的试验方法,将60例诊断为良性阵发性位置性眩晕的受试者随机分为试验组和对照组,分别接受仪器复位治疗和手法复位治疗,并在治疗次日和治疗后1周对其疗效进行评价和比较。结果 Mann-Whitney分析结果表明试验组疗效明显优于对照组(P<0.05);Logistic分析结果表明,组间在访视时间上没有统计学差异,组间治疗效果有显著差异。结论应用SRM-IV前庭功能系统治疗良性阵发性位置性眩晕临床效果优于常规手法复位,并可弥补其不足。 Objective The treatment effect of the automatic vestibular function therapy system(SRM-IV) in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo was evaluated. Method An open and parallel method was employed. 60 BPPV patients were assigned to trial group or control group randomly and they received apparatus therapy or manipulative therapy. The treatment effect and comparison of the two groups were measured the next day and a week later. Result Mann- Whitney test showed that the treatment effect in trial group receiving apparatus therapy was better than that in control group receiving manipulative therapy. Logistic regression showed that it was the group not the interview time that affected the treatment result. Conclusion The treatment effect of utilizing automatic vestibular function therapy system(SRM-IV) in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo outweighed that of using manipulative therapy and the former can supplement the latter in treatment effect.
