摘要
长期以来，在对《水浒》的研究中，作者的政治态度和道德立场一直受到异乎寻常的关注，并每每作为论证成书年代，写作目的以及版本等诸多问题的重要依据。诚然，作者在现实政治和道德压力下，不得不同传统话语方式达成某种妥协，但《水浒》成书的决定性因素不在于此。我们认为：从话本和杂剧中吸取继承的现实主义精神贯穿全书，成为《水浒》一书的最大特点。这种现实主义精神迥异于现当代文学中流弊甚深的那种虚假的现实主义，而以“人情物理”为指导原则。其结果是达到了对传统话语及其隐含的道德二元结构的解构。
：In the study of Outlaws of the Marsh ,attention has long been lavished on the author's political position and moral value ,the two being regarded as a significant criterion for the identification of the writing time ,the writing purpose and the versions of the novel .Positively ,the author did bend to the pressure from the political power as well as the moral norm , in search of a certain compromise between his diction and traditional discourse. However ,the creation of the novel is not dominantly dependent on the political and moral influences . Instead , in our opinion , the designing feature of the novel is the adaptation of realistic essence by integrating the scripts of story-telling and folk opera . This realistic essence , different from the false realism prevalent in the modern trend of current literature , is principled on humanity and the nature , being constructs of traditional discourse and its implied moral norm.
