摘要
报道了一种简便经济的自 1 -十六碳烯制备十五烷醇和 1 -溴十五烷的实用工艺路线。可用于生产昂贵的奇数直链醇。
Hexadecene was treated with ozone at low temperature to form its ozonide, which was reduced with sodium borohydride to 1 pentadecanol in 94.5% overall yield.1 Bromopentadecane was in turn prepared from pentadecanol via bromination under PTC condition in 92.5%.The whole process is believed to be applicable to the preparation of odd number aliphatic straight chain alcohols and halides as well.It has the advantages of low cost,less pollution and easy manipulation over Hunsdiecker Borodine reaction for synthesis of certain alkyl halides.
