摘要
People who drive to work in China could soon be saving several hundred yuan a month, after theretail price of petrol was cut by 310 yuan (US$49.2) and that of diesel by 300 yuan (US$47.6) per ton on November 16. The move, announced by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's top economic planner, was the fourth such cut this year, and follows two consecutive rises. It was made in response to recent price movements on the global crude oilmarket, according to a statement posted on the N DRC's website.
