摘要
把东南亚华文文学与澳美欧华文文学这两者笼统地放置于特定的华文生态中进行比较分析,似乎尚无人涉及。尽管两者之间确实存在着许多可比性,但真正梳理谈论起来却有相当的难度。当然这种比较对照自有其一定的合理性因素和探讨价值。如果我们从历史文化背景和地缘因素,从作家身份意识与知识结构、从地域经验与文本书写形态等方面来加以观察,便可发现两者之间潜藏着诸多耐人寻味的话题。因为东南亚华文文学在亚洲语境中,即在"蕉风椰雨"中发展壮大,而澳美欧华文文学是在西方语境下,即在"欧风美雨"中自由生长。
There seems no people to go in for the comparative analysis of the Southeast Asian Chinese literature with the Australian, American and European Chinese literature generally placed on the specific Chinese ecology. Although they are comparable in many aspects, the real research on them is difficult but of reasonable value. If we study them from the historical and cultural background and geographical factors, from the sense of writers＇ identity and their knowledge structure and from their works, we can see there are many thought-provoking topics between them, because the Southeast Asian literature in the Asian context developed and grew in the ＂coconut wind and banana rain＂, while the Australian, American and Euro- pean Chinese literature in the western context have their free development in ＂the western culture and civilization＂.
