摘要
19世纪美国西部开发取得巨大成就,成为世界上对欠发达地区成功开发的典型。自上世纪90年代以来,我国学术界充分认识到研究美国西部开发史的现实意义,对该课题进行了卓有成效的探讨,取得了较为丰硕的成果,主要集中在美国西部开发中的土地政策、交通革命和城市化等领域。本文对这些成果加以综述,较为完整地描述了我国学术界对美国西部开发史的研究现状。
The western part of the United States has made a great progress in the development in 19th century known as ＂the westward expansion＂. This became an ideal model and was subsequ ently applied to the exploration of the undeveloped areas. Since the 1990s, scholars in China have increasingly recognized the international significance of the history of America~ development of the West. By the highly effective discussion of this study, scholars have a- chieved a lot which focus on the field of land policy, transportation revolution and urbanization under the development of western regions in America. In this paper, the author offers an deep review of these advancements. This is followed by a discussion of the current developments in the research of Chinese academics and their analysis of the American his- tory of westward development.
