摘要
翻译是什么和翻译什么是翻译理论面临的两个问题,前者是翻译本体论问题,后者则涉及到翻译的客体问题。以前的翻译本体和客体的理论研究,为进一步研究翻译的本体和客体奠定了基础,但只是抓住了翻译本体或客体的某个方面进行研究。本文试图从中国哲学本体论思想与中国传统译论中的化境思想探寻翻译的本体;从翻译的认知取向探讨翻译的客体。
What translation is and translate what are two different questions in translation theory studies.The former question is about translation otology,while the latter is about the translation objectivity.The previous studies of translation otology and objectivity laid a good foundation for further study;however,they were only about some aspects of translation otology and objectivity,which couldn＇t generalize the concept of translation ontology and objectivity.In this paper,the author discussed translation ontology from Chinese philosophy combined translation theory in Chinese tradition and translation objectivity from cognitive perspective.The paper holds that translation ontology is ＂Huajing＂ and what should be translated is cognitive content in different construal dimensions.
