A New Coverage Enhancement Algorithm for Directional Sensor Networks

摘要 针对现有有向传感器网络覆盖增强方法算法较复杂及覆盖率不够高等问题,提出了一种新的有向传感器网络覆盖增强算法。每次取一重覆盖区域面积最大的传感器节点及其传感方向,使得整个网络的一重覆盖区域较多,重叠区较少,可提高网络的覆盖率;同时考虑了冗余节点休眠的情况,当网络中有节点失效时,将其周围的休眠节点激活,并重新部署失效节点周围的节点,以此保证网络有较长的寿命和较好的覆盖效果。对比实验表明,与现有算法相比,本算法原理简单,且在相同节点数目和传感半径情况下,覆盖率分别提高了20%和15%左右。 For deficiencies of existing coverage enhancement methods of directional sensor networks such as notably computational complexity and low coverage ratio,a new coverage enhancement algorithm for directional sensor networks is proposed in this paper.The node and its coverage direction with the maximum coverage area are deployed every time until all the nodes are processed.The coverage ratio can be enhanced for low overlapping regions.At the same time,the sensor redundant node dormancy is considered.The dormancy nodes are woken before the surrounded nodes are redeployed when nodes fail in a timely manner.Thus the coverage ratio is increased and the network lifetime is prolonged.Experiment results show that the coverage ratio of the proposed method increased by 20% and 15% for the same nodes numbers and sensor radius.
