摘要
异向介质是介电常数ε和磁导率μ中全为负值的人工合成电磁材料,在这种介质中传播电磁波,相位的传播方向和能量的传播方向相反。利用异向介质在某个频段内折射率接近零的特性可制造出具有很强定向辐射能力的天线;用异向介质代替微带天线中的传统介质基板,利用其对表面波的抑制来减小边缘散射,提高天线的辐射效率等。在此利用异向介质这一特性设计出性能优良的微带天线。
Anisotropic dielectric is a artificial electromagnetic material which is negative value in both dielectric constant ε and magnetic conductivity μ. The phase propagation and energy propagation are in opposite directions when electromagnetic waves propagate in such medium. The antenna with very strong directional radiation capacity can be made by using the charac- teristics of the anisotropic medium whose refractive index is near zero in a certain frequency range. The edge scattering can be reduced by the suppression to surface wave of anisotropic medium, and the antenna radiation efficiency can be improved if the anisotropic medium is used instead of the traditional medium substrate in microstrip antenna. The microstrip antenna with ex-cellent performance was designed by means of the characteristics of anisotropic medium.
