Microstucture of Water Equilibrated with Organic Phase

摘要 The microstructural characteristics of water/N, N-dibutyldecanamide/CCl4 system have been investigated by FT-IR spectroscopic technique. The broad peaks obtained for water OH have been resolved by Gaussian curve fitting, and the vibration characteristics, particularly the peak intensity and peak area corresponding to each peak, have been analyzed. The results suggest the formation of 1: 1 and 2:1 hydrogen bonded complexes, DBDEA. H2O and (DBDEA)2· H2O, respectively. There is no evidence for the multihydrate species.
