摘要
语篇的词汇衔接,作为语篇的一种重要衔接手段,体现了语篇内部各词汇项之间的深层语义逻辑关系,使语篇在结构、语义等方面成为一个有组织、连贯的连续体。本文运用功能语言学有关词汇衔接的理论和法国释意理论,以《温家宝总理在英国剑桥大学的演讲》为例,探讨了各种词汇衔接方式的语篇功能,认为词汇衔接有助于演说辞的文本解读和英汉口译语篇的对等转换。
Lexieal cohesion, as an important cohesive device, displays logico-semantic relationship between lexieal items within a text, enabling the whole text to form a well-organized, coherent continuum in structure and meaning. In this paper, the author explored textual function of various forms of lexical cohesion based on case study of speech See China in the light of her development by Premier Wen Jiabao. The author argued that the theory of lexieal cohesion is of great help to understanding and interpretation to speech and achieving equivalence in English-Chinese speech interpretation.
